Doris Acosta Lopez

Doris Acosta Lopez,65, of Random Drive passed away Sunday March 19, 2023 at her home. A celebration of life service will be held at a later date. Doris was born in Medellin, Colombia on October 3, 1957 to the late Bernardo Acosta and Belarmina Acosta. She operated her house cleaning service in Lexington for years and also worked for the Lexington City Schools for 14 years in the cafeteria. Her biggest fulfillment and sense of accomplishment was watching her daughter succeed in all of her goals becoming a dentist. She was a devoted mom, lit up any room, life of the party and full of wisdom. Surviving is her daughter, Marisol Lopez and husband Hieu Nguyen of Raleigh, her husband, Alberto Lopez of Lexington. Also surviving are 2 brothers and 5 sisters.
