Donnie Arnold Sneed

Donnie Arnold Sneed, 59, of Love Road, died Friday, Nov. 17, 2006, at High Point Regional Hospital. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Good Hope United Methodist Church, where he was a member, by the Revs. Wade Powell and Larry Peterson. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Mr. Sneed was born Feb. 24, 1947, in Chesterfield County, S.C., to James Miller and Lucille Hicks Sneed. He was an employee of Owens-Brockway Glass of Midway. In addition to his parents, preceding him in death were two sisters, Millie Wilson and Linda Sneed, and one brother, Benny Sneed. Surviving are his wife, Glenda Younts Sneed of the home; a daughter, Julie Johnson and her husband, Chad, of Lexington; a son, Chad Sneed and his wife, Jodi, of Lexington; three sisters, Jerry Smith and her husband, Ronnie, Judy Houser and her husband, Scottie, and Cathy Owle, all of Ramseur; two brothers, Jim Sneed and his wife, Karen, and Wayne Sneed and his wife, Connie, all of Lexington; and three grandchildren, Mason Sneed, Ayla Sneed and Zoie Johnson. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 tonight at Piedmont Funeral Home and other times at the residence on Love Road.
