Donna Evelyn Pearson

Mrs. Donna Evelyn Freeland Pearson, 71, of Green Meadows Dr., died Friday, March 26, 2021 at her home. No services will be scheduled. Mrs. Pearson was born in Cumberland County September 12, 1949 to the late John David and Rosetta Riddle Freeland. Preceding her in death were brothers John David Freeland, Jr., Charles Jack Freeland, and sister Diane Freeland. She was a homemaker, and a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Surviving are her husband Jerry Van Pearson of the home; sons Travis Wayne Person of Lexington, and Mark Linzy Pearson of Asheville; daughter Stacey Marshel Pearson of Lexington; sisters Cherie Freeland Frisbee of Fletcher, and Lisa Freeland Wallace (Tommy) of Marshall; and grandchildren Anthony, Jazmine, and Aiden. Also surviving is sister-in-law Terie Freeland.
