Donald Willard Beck,79, of Fair Circle, died Wednesday July 5, 2017 at Wake Forest Baptist Health Lexington Medical Center. Funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday July 8, 2017 at Coggins Memorial Baptist Church where he was a member, with the Rev. Dearl Bunce the Rev. Bill Sosebee and the Rev. Elizabeth Horton officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park, with military honors provided by the Davidson County Honor Guard. Family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Friday July 7, 2017 at Piedmont Funeral Home. Donald was born in Davidson County on August 2, 1937 to the late Charlie Wade Beck and Daisy Lee Harper Beck Brown. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Shelba Jean Beck, step father, Walter Brown, brother, Gary Beck, sister Mary Ann Altman. Mr. Beck was a veteran of the US Navy and was a welder with J B White construction in High Point and retired from A L Miller construction in Lexington. Surviving is his wife, Deanna Berrier-Michael Beck of the home, sons, Donald Beck and Charlie Beck (Debbie) of Lexington, daughters, Tina Darrnell (Tim) and Pamela Hunt (Chris) of Lexington, sister, Elizabeth Mae Mugan (Bob) of China Grove, sister in law, Wanita Beck of Lexington, grandchildren, Brandon Hunt with the US Army stationed in Colorado,Jessica Hunt, Chad Darrnell, Steven Darnell,Ashely Beck, Nelson Beck, Aubree Beck, Misty Beck all of Lexington, Stephanie Beck of Charlotte, Laurin Beacham (Matthew) of Statesville. Step grandson, Keith Rushing of Lexington, great grandchildren, Patience Darrnell, Mason Darrnell, Grayson Darrnell, Olivia Brenaman, Lily Hunt, Ricky Beck, Angel Beck and Matilyn Beacham. Extended family Julie Smith (Larry), Laura Little Carter (David) and Charles Wade Michael, extended grandchildren, Jake Smith (Alex), Katie Gilliatt (Jeremy) Jordan Little and Marshall Wade Michael, extended great grandchild, Lucas Gilliatt, numerous nieces and nephews.
