Delmar Eugene Swinford

Delmar Eugene Swinford,79, of Cornelia Street, passed away Thursday September 24th at Lexington Health Care. No services are planned. Delmar was born in Springfield, Illinois on August 1, 1941 to the late Henry and Doris Swinford. Delmer ended up moving to North Carolina when he was an adult because that’s where the jobs were. He worked in a furniture factory in Lexington for many years. Surviving are step son, Joe Berry of Trenton, Illinois and sister, Naomi Winslow of Urbana, Illinois.
