Darlene Biesecker Floyd

Darlene Biesecker Black  Floyd,76, of Mustang Drive, passed away Sunday, November 24, 2019 at Forsyth Medical Center. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, at Piedmont Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Charlie Collins officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:30-2:00 PM prior to the service at the Funeral Home and at all other times at the home, 231 Mustang Drive, Thomasville, NC. Mrs. Floyd was born in Guilford County on March 2, 1943 to the late Samuel Lee Black and Margaret Lucinda Chappell Black. Darlene  was head instructor for hair design at Davidson County Community College and  formerly operated Darlene’s Hair Design.She was also involved with home health care. She was prededed in death by her first husband, James (Jerry) Biesecker, brother, Larry Black, sister,Marlene Freeman.  Surviving is her husband, Donald Floyd of the home, son, Jeffery Mark Biesecker of Lexington, daughters, Jamie Biesecker Ball (Scott) of Lexington, Sherry Biesecker Leonard (Perry) of Swansea, SC, sisters, Lenora Musgrave of Lexington, Janice Black of Lexington, grandchildren, Brandi Leonard Rude (Josh),Meagan Leonard Brown(Shawn) Matthew Leonard, Amber Biesecker, Samuel Ball and Haley Ball.
