Danny Blackburn

Danny Thomas Blackburn,50, of Williams Street passed away Tuesday in Raleigh. A celebration of life service will be held at 4:00 PM Saturday January 27, 2024 at South Lexington Fire Department, 200 Cotton Grove Road, Lexington, NC 27292. Danny was born in McDowell County, WV on December 22, 1973 to the late Paul Carter and Gloria Castevens. He was formerly employed with Balcoum Trucking Company. Surviving are sons, Danny Blackburn and Robert Blackburn of Lexington, daughters, Haley Blackburn of Lexington and Chasity Atkinson of Salisbury, brother, Blaine Blackburn of Linwood, sister, Sandra Murray of Bluefield, WV, grandchildren, Cooper, Claire, Chloe Crotts, Carson and Disel Deal, Dale, Rose Wood, Avery, Leah Blackburn and Cassidy Robertson.
