Daisy Barker Little

Daisy Barker Little, our beloved mother, grandmother, sister and aunt passed away peacefully on February 12, 2025 at the age of 83.  She was born in Lexington, North Carolina on February 11, 1942 to the late Barnie and Daisy Barker.

Daisy and her husband owned and operated John Wayne's BBQ for many years.  She loved flowers, working outside and sewing.

Daisy was predeceased by her parents, her husband John Wayne Little, Sr. and daughter Donna Leigh Little.   Left to cherish her memory are daughter, Sharon Davis (Farley), son, John W. Little, Jr. (Jean), and son-in-law Ray Williams.  She is survived by grandchildren Paxton and Whitney Davis, Josh Leonard (Tory), Brandi Moore, Toby Prince (Cindy), Jeremy Prince, Bryan Williams (Anna) and Jason Williams (Jenny), as well as 15 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.  Daisy will also be remembered by her sisters Jenny White, Helen Leonard (Steve), Paula Daly (Brendan), and many nephews and nieces.

A private Graveside Service will be held at Forest Hill Memorial Park.
