Curtis Allen Laxton

Curtis Allen Laxton, 64, of Hoyle Grubb Lane, passed away Wednesday at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist.

A celebration of life service will be held at 6:00 PM Thursday September 21, 2023 at Piedmont Funeral Home Chapel, with Ernest Laxton, Jr. officiating. Family will receive friends from 5-6 PM prior to the service.

Curtis was born in Davidson County on April 3, 1959 to Ernest Laxton, Sr and Patricia Laxton.  He was retired from Atrium Windows in Welcome and was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia.

Surviving is his loving wife, Genorah Grubb Laxton of the home, father, Ernest Laxton, Sr. of Lexington, son, Joe Laxton of Lexington, step son, Tommy Leonard of Lexington, brother, Ernest Laxton, Jr. of Stacy, NC, sisters, D’etta Ivey of Lexington and Donna Lynch of Lexington, grandchildren, Travis Laxton, Zechariah Leonard and Emma Grace Leonard.
