Connie Davis

Medgie Connie Davis, 75, of S. NC Highway 150, passed away Sunday February 5, 2017 at Rowan Regional Hospital. A memorial graveside service will be held at 2:30 PM Thursday, February 9, 2017 at Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1PM until 2 PM Thursday at Piedmont Funeral Home. Miss. Davis was born in Davidson County on May 27, 1941 to the late Olin Thales Davis, Jr. and Catherine Wilson Davis. She was retired from Duracell Battery and was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her sister, Shelby Davis Bauernfeind and nephew, Barry Davis. Surviving are brothers, Olin Thales Davis,III, (Madeline), Willie Eugene Davis (Gayle F.) of Churchland; brother in law, Stan Bauernfeind of Churchland; sisters, Bobbie Tetter (Sam) of Churchland, Cathy Davis Bailey (Tom) of Fayeteville ; nephews, Troy Bauernfeind, Olin Davis, Mark Davis, Terry Tetter, Michael Tetter ,Scott Weaver and Tony Bauernfeind, nieces, Tracy Bauernfeind Forster, DeeDee Davis Callahan, Amy Davis Knox, Lea Poole and Amanda Weaver Gallagher.
