Clinard J R Presnell

Clinard JR “Junior” Presnell ,66, of Old Salisbury Road, passed away Saturday at his home. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM Wednesday, July 29, 2020 at Piedmont Funeral Home Chapel, with Preacher Clyde Akers officiating. A private burial will be at his home town at a later date. Family will receive friends from 2:00 – 3:00 PM prior to the service at the Funeral Home. Mr. Presnell was born in Avery County on June 26, 1954 to the late JD Presnell and Louanna Hicks Presnell. He worked with NC Finishing Company in Spencer for 22 years. He was preceded in death by his sister, Kathy Presnell Spencer. Surviving is his wife, Pamela Giles Presnell of the home, son, Christopher Scott Presnell (Dolly) of Linwood, brother James Presnell (Terry) of Southmont, grandchildren, Michael Chau (Nikki), Matthew Chau (Ashley Blair), Tia Harrell (Ryan), great-grandchildren, Zachary Chau and Barrett Harrell, nieces and nephews, Amy Byerly, Jeremy Testerman, John Testerman, Terri Lynn Testerman, Josh Powers, Andy Powers and Ory Powers.
