Clifford Jacob Prince, 79, of Walnut Grove Road died Saturday, January 10, 2015 at High Point Regional Hospital. A funeral service will be Tuesday at 3:30 PM in Piedmont Funeral Home Chapel by Preacher Clyde Akers and Pastor Bud Powell. Burial will follow in Galilee Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. Mr. Prince was born April 14, 1935 in Polk County, Tenn. to Henry and Lena Belle Hampton Prince. He was a retired supervisor with Thomasville Furniture Industries and was a member of Galilee Missionary Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by daughters Cynthia Prince and Cheryl Beecher; brother Winston Prince; and sisters Madeline Duvall, Mildred Golden, Wanda Tysinger, and Pauline Elliot. Clifford loved his music and his Lord. He enjoyed racing, and loved his family and friends and the mountains. Surviving are his wife, Margaret Thomas Prince of the home; sons Gary Prince (Patsy), Ricky Prince, and David Prince all of Lexington, Hank (Henry) Prince (Tonya) of Clemmons, Kyle Prince of Michigan, and step-son Terry Howard; daughters Charlotte Bull (Johnny), Tammy Lomax (Randy) all of Lexington, and Missey Price of West Virginia; sister, Kathleen Woods of Lexington; sixteen grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. Also surviving is sister-in-law Linda Prince of Lexington.
