Clara Bell Smith

Clara Bell Essick Smith,87, of Friendship Church Road passed away Saturday at Hinkle Hospice House. A celebration of life service will be held at a later date. Mrs. Smith was born in Davidson County on January 18, 1937 to the late Olin Essick and Delta Walser Essick. She was a member of Friendship Church and was a retired employee of Burlington Mills and Stanley furniture. Surviving is her husband, Monroe Smith of the home, sons, Tim Smith and Terry Smith (Kathy) of Lexington, sister, Myrtle Lee Brandon (William) of Lexington, grandchildren, Lydia Jane Smith of Lexington, Sarah Woods (Billy) of Welcome and Crystal Robertson (Brian) of West Virginia.
