"Chipper" Smith

“Chipper” Smith of Hamilton Road passed away Wednesday at High Point Medical Center. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Monday at Forest Hill Memorial Park Mausoleum, with the Rev. Wayne Sechrest officiating. Burial will follow in the cemetery following the service. “Chipper” was born in Davidson County on December 18, 1955 to the late Henry B. Smith and Hilda Lib Smith. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. “Chipper” was preceded in death by his sisters, Jean Kyles and Tina Lynn O’Donoghue. Surviving are brother, Danny Patrick Smith (Vickie) of Mocksville, sisters, Mary “Beth” Walters (Wayne) of Lexington, AnnS Stapleton (Sid) of Mocksville, brother in law, Max Kyles of New Orleans, nephews, Chris O’Donoghue, A.J. Kyles, niece, Kelly Walser, great nephew, Chance Walser, great niece, Bayley O’Donoghue.
