Charles Bryce Young

Lexington: Charles Bryce Young, 81, a resident of Centerclair Nursing Center, formerly of New Bowers Road, died Sunday, October 1, 2006 in Centerclair. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Mr. Young was born October 14, 1924 in Davidson County to late Charles and Fannie Mae Beck Young. He was retired employee of Burlington Industries and was a member of Hedrick’s Grove United Church of Christ. Mr. Young was a veteran of the US Army having served in WW II. In addition to his parents, preceding him in death were his wife, Violet Thompson Young, and a son, Wayne Lamar Young. He is survived by a sister, Barbara Jean Mayhew of Thomasville, and a brother Rayvon Young of Lexington The family will receive friends Tuesday from 4 until 7 pm at 403 Bowers Road, Lexington.
