Charles D. Tilley

Charles D. Tilley, 65 of Buie Bodenheimer Road, died Thursday at Thomasville Medical Center. The funeral service will be 2 p.m. Monday at Piedmont Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Holly Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:30-1:30 p.m. prior to the service at the Funeral Home. Mr. Tilley was born in Davidson County on July 25, 1949, to Tyler Madison Tilley and Margie Taylor Tilley. He was employed with Twin Cities Sprinkler. His parents preceded him in death. Surviving are his wife of 45 years Betty Hanes Tilley of the home; son, Jeffrey Dee Tilley of Thomasville; daughter, Regina Tilley Stone and husband Mickey of Thomasville; grandchildren, Tyler Stone and Amber Prater and husband Billy; great-grandson, Caleb Prater of Thomasville; brother, Jimmy Tilley and wife Alice of Midway; and sisters, Thelma Everhart of Lexington and Barbara Jean Tilley of Greensboro.
