Charles Jerry Montgomery

Charles Jerry Montgomery age 83 passed away Saturday, February 8, 2025, at Hospice House of Lexington, N.C.  A celebration of life will be held later.

Jerry was born in Kernersville, N.C. on July 19, 1941, to Hilda Knight and Charles Montgomery. He was a devoted husband and father, committed friend, and employee of Quality Foods & Atrium Windows.  He previously served as a Deputy Sheriff with the Davidson County Sherrif's Department for three years.  He taught Sunday School and enjoyed sharing the Message with his children & friends, he enjoyed playing the guitar and was a member in a country music band. He was preceded in death by his parents & the children’s mother, Pauline.

Surviving are his wife Linda, daughter Debbie Montgomery Roberts Smith of Lexington; son Robert “Bobby” Montgomery (Kathy) of Winston-Salem; daughter Melinda Montgomery Sizemore (Randall) of Mocksville;  Tina; grandchildren Shannon Montgomery, Candice Roberts Shumate (Lee), Meredith Roberts Spainhour (Wes), Steven “Daved”  Roberts (Laurie); Kera & family; great-grandchildren Kaleb Bovender, Weston  Loftin, Annslee Shumate,  Colton Shumate, Mason Spainhour, Conway Spainhour, Dottie Roberts, Ruth Roberts, Serenity; nephew Billy Mason, special cousin Walter Capiga.
