Charles Allan Fink, 72, of Linwood, passed away Monday June 1, 2026.
Charles was born to Mary Fink Burrus and the late Arthur Fink. He worked as a truck driver for many years, spending much of his career with JJ Haines and R+L Carriers. He was known for his dedication to his work and the many miles he traveled throughout his career.
He is survived by his mother, Mary Fink Burrus, sons, Chad Fink and wife, Tracy, and Shane Fink and wife, Emily. Also, his companion Susan Reinehardt and grandchildren, Kirsten, Jeremy, William, Noah, Ava, Anika, and Ben.
Additional survivors include his brothers, Gary Fink of Linwood, Mike Fink of Woodbridge, Virginia, and Tim Fink of Middletown, Virginia, along with several extended family members and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at St. Luke's, with Pastor Angela Powell officiating. A burial will follow at Sandy Creek Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m., at the church.
The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Tammy Byerly of Hospice for the care, support, and kindness shown.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of Davidson County 202 Hospice Way, Lexington, 27292 and St. Lukes Lutheran Church 4299 S. NC Hwy 150, Lexington, 27295. At all other times, family and friends are welcome to visit at the home of Chad and Tracy Fink.
