Charles Lee Beckom

Mr. Charles Lee “Charlie” Beckom, 75, of Lexington died Monday, November 30, 2020 at Thomasville Medical Center. A private double memorial service will be held at a later date at Christian Baptist Church with the Rev. Sam Harvey officiating. Mr. Beckom was born in Davidson County September 6, 1945 to Norman Beckom and Evelyn Barnhill Stephenson. He was previously employed by the former Leggett and Platt Company. He was predeceased by his father; daughter Charlene Skipper; brother Ronnie Beckom; and sister Louise Kinneley. Surviving are his mother Evelyn Barnhill Stephenson, and extended family, including special friend Elsie Leonard (who died December 4, 2020), and Elsie's family: daughter, Diane Younts (Kent Everhart); her granddaughter Chasity Little and husband Scott; and their son and daughter, Jacob and Sarah Little. Also surviving are son Billy Beckom; daughters Jennifer Honeycutt and Merinda Lynch; brothers James and Larry Beckom; and sister Jean Taylor.
