Cecil Inge Everhart

Cecil Inge Everhart, 75, of Lexington, passed away on Saturday, August 1, 2026. He was born on July 8, 1952.

Cecil lived a life defined by hard work, kindness, and willingness to lend a helping hand. He had a lifelong passion for working on old cars, lawnmowers, and through that passion he formed many lasting friendships. Whether fixing an engine or offering advice, Cecil was always happy when he could help someone else and loved to joke around with his buddies.

Cecil was preceded in death by his beloved daughter Angie; his mother; two brothers; and two sisters.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife Carol Everhart, with whom he shared 54 years of marriage with; two sons, Greg Everhart and Larry Everhart (Michelle), both of Lexington; his best friend and twin sister Roxanne Leonard (Gean) of Lexington; and his brother Johnny Everhart (Debbie).

Cecil was also a proud grandfather to Ashley (John) and Courtney (James), two additional grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. He was also a loving great-grandfather to his best buddy Logi, who brought him endless joy, laughter, and smiles.

Though he will be deeply missed, Cecil will be remembered for his generous heart, the friendships he built throughout his life, and the love he shared with his family. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
