Catherine Wilson Davis

Catherine Josephine Wilson Davis, 87, a resident of S NC Hwy 150, died Tuesday, March 13, 2007, at 10:20 AM at her residence Graveside services will be 11:00 AM Friday, March 16, 2007, in Forest Hill Memorial Park, with Rev. Ray Howell IV officiating. Mrs. Davis was born June 7, 1919, in Davidson County, to the late Willie Eugene and Dora Belle Lomax Wilson. She was a homemaker and a member of Churchland Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, preceding her in death were her husband, O.T. Davis, Jr., a brother, Hollis Wilson and a grandson, Barry Davis. She is survived by 2 sons; Thales Davis III and wife, Madeline of Lexington and Willie Davis and his wife, Gayle of Linwood,,4 daughters; Connie Davis of the home Shelby Bauernfeind, and her husband, Stan, Bobbie Tetter and her husband, Sam all of Lexington, Cathy Bailey and her husband, Tom of Fayetteville, NC4 sisters; Willie Mae Bowen, Lee Crowell, Muriel Everhart and her husband, C.J. all of Lexington, and Dot McBride of Linwood, 12 grandchildren; Olin Davis IV of Lexington, SC, Amy Knox of Dunn, Troy Bauernfeind of China, Tracy Holshouser of Huntersville, Tony Bauernfeind of Navarre, Florida, Mark Davis of Linwood, Dee Dee Callahan of Lexington, Lea Poole of Lexington, Terry Tetter of Lexington, Michael Tetter of Lexington, Scott Weaver of Raleigh, and Amanda Gallagher of Leesville, LA, also surviving are 20 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Granddaughter.
