Carroll Alonzo Moody

Carroll Alonzo Moody, 78 of Old Salisbury Road, died Friday at Wake Forest Baptist Health Lexington Medical Center. Funeral service will be held 2:00 P.M. Monday at Greer’s Chapel United Methodist Church,where he was a member with the Rev. Jimmy Myers officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6-8 P.M. Sunday at Piedmont Funeral Home. Mr. Moody was born in Davidson County on September 18,1935 to the late Howard Lynn Moody and Josie Smith Moody. He was preceded in death by his wife Priscilla Ann Watson Moody. Surviving are son, Timothy Moody of the home; daughter, Michele Moody Lakis and husband Doug of High Point; grandsons, Andrew Lakis and wife Kristen of Durham; Michael Lakis and wife Addie of Austin,Tx.; great grandson, Abe Lakis, several nieces and nephews.
