Carolyn Sue Owen

Carolyn Sue “Susie” Owen, 63, of Veteran’s Ave. went home to be with the Lord on Monday, August 10, 2015 at Hinkle Hospice House. A memorial service will be Friday at 7:00 PM at Piedmont Funeral Home Chapel by Preacher Clyde Akers and Rev. David Robinson. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Carolyn was born July 19, 1952 in Pulaski, Virginia to Levi Clayton and Lucille Rhoades Ayers. She was employed in the finishing room of Councill Craftsman Company Furniture. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, William Levi Ayers. She is survived by daughters Kristi Conrad (Michael) and Melissa Walser all of Lexington; sister Ella Ayers Dunn (Roy) of Linwood; grandchildren, Cheyenne,Taylor and Bryanne; and close family friend, Charles Gray Greer,Jr..
