Carol Lee Loy

Carol Lee Berrier Loy, 86, of Hames Street died Thursday, February 21,2019 at Alston Brook.  A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, February 26,  2019  at Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church Cemetery conducted by Pastor Max Shoaf.  Carol was born January 4, 1933 in Wilkes County to the late Ernest Robert Annie Lois Sayles Berrier. A member of Macedonia United Methodist Church, she graduated from Ashemore Business College where she received her Associate’s Degree, and retired from the former Duracell Battery Company. Preceding her in death were brother Bobby Berrier, and sister Margie Curley.  Surviving are sons James Loy and Michael Ovanda Loy both of Lexington, and Ernest Bob Lee Loy (Sonya) of Cooleemee; daughter Patrice Loy  Parnell (Eddie) of Ramseur; grandchildren, Aaron Loy, Thomas Loy, Kristina Lunsford and John Canoy; great-grandchildren, Jacob Faulk, Zachary Canoy, and Evelyn Faulk,; and brother, Reggie Berrier of Midway.
