Bud Jones

Gray Smith “Bud” Jones, 73, of Raeford Avenue, died Saturday at Lexington Memorial Hospital. Funeral Services will be held at 2:30 PM Monday, October 15, in the Mausoleum Chapel at Forest Hill Memorial Park, with Rev. Myra Ward officiating. Mr. Jones was born July 4, 1934 in Davie County to W.N. Jones and Helen Hege Jones. He was the manager of Wayside Sinclair for many years and later retired from M & L Motors. He was a member of First United Methodist Church and attended Trinity United Methodist Church. Surviving are his wife, Nancy Foard Jones of the home; and a brother, Clement Davis Jones of Mocksville. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 PM Monday at Piedmont Funeral Home prior to the service.
