Henry Buck Register, 87 of Abbid Street, Lexington, died Wednesday, April 29, 2009 in High Point Regional Hospital. A funeral service will be Saturday at 11:00 AM at the First Pentecostal Holiness Church, with the Rev. Wayne Knight and Rev. Bill O’Neil officiating. Burial will follow in Lexington City Cemetery. Mr. Register was born October 10, 1921 in Columbus County, N.C. to the late Samual Register and Dollie Little Register. He was a retired employee of the City of Lexington, with thirty years of service. and was a member of the First Pentecostal Holiness Church. In addition to his parents, preceding him in death was his wife Frances Myrtle Gray Register, five brothers and four sisters. He enjoyed making new friends, watching westerns and going to the beach. He is survived by his son Buck Register and his wife Renee of the home, two grandchildren, Tammy Hulin and Sherry Forrest and her husband Allen, 3 great grandchildren, Fallon Allen, Preston Forrest, and Bailey Forrest. The family will receive friends Friday from 6 to 8, at Piedmont Funeral Home and other times will be at the home, on Abbid Street.
