Brenda Jean Gregg

Brenda Jean Cannon Gregg, 70, of Yadkin College Rd., died Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at Wake Forest Baptist Health-Lexington Medical Center. A memorial service will be Monday, February 10, 2014 at 4:00 PM at South Fork Church of Christ in Winston-Salem, where she was a member, by William Allen and William McKenzie. The family will receive friends after the service in the church family center. Brenda was born September 17, 1943 to the late Elvage Lothair (Jack) and Irene Savage Cannon. She was a homemaker and a member of the Rowan Doll Society. Surviving are her husband, Wayne Gregg of the home; sons Timothy Wayne Gregg and wife Kimberly and Christopher James Gregg and wife Hazel all of Lexington; daughters, Laura Darlene Smith and husband Steven and Jennifer Dianne Mann and husband Bryan all of Lexington; brother James Cannon of Greenville, SC and sister Ann Elizabeth January of Guntown, MS. Also surviving are grandchildren Hannah Hazlehurst, Nicolas Gregg, Brooklyn Hughes, Zachary Hazlehurst, Abigail Smith, Ethan Mann, Graye Gregg, Lillie Mann, and great-grandchild Lyla White.
