Betty Prince

  Betty Estelle King Prince, 82, of Robert Everhart Road died Sunday, December 10, 2017 at her home. A funeral service will be Thursday at 2:00 at Piedmont Funeral Home Chapel conducted by the Rev. Josh Sheffield. Interment will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  Mrs. Prince was born September 16, 1934 in Nash County to the late Offie and Cora King. She was a homemaker and a member of Clearview Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Herman Prince in 2007, a son George Franklin Prince, brothers Junior, Jeff, Freddie, and William King, and sisters Addie Glover and Dorothy Strickland.  She is survived by sons Charles Prince (Leslie) of Lexington and Howard Prince (Cheryl) of Wilkesboro; nine grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchilden. Also surviving is a daughter-in-law Nancy Prince of North Wilkesboro, and a special niece Lois Day of Clayton.
