Betty Sue Moore

Betty Sue Bumgarner Moore,80, of Horseshoe Neck Road, died Saturday at Brian Center of Lexington. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M.. Thursday December 11, 2014 at Shiloh United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Dave Kelley officiating. Inurnment will follow in the church columbarium. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the church sanctuary. Betty was born in Davidson County on September 10,1934 to the late James Ivey Bumgarner and Sadie Edith Everhart Bumgarner.She was preceded in death by her husband William Carl Moore, Brother, James Bryce Bumgarner and sister, Rebecca Bumgarner McCoin.She was a county commissioner from 1994-1996. Surviving are daughters, Lori Svejkovsky and Mitzi Wilson (Eddie) of Lexington; seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
