Benny Fred Musgrave, 68, of Wafford Circle, died Saturday, Feb. 24, 2007, at his residence on his 50th wedding anniversary. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Piedmont Funeral Home Chapel by Tom Nussbaum and Robert Johnson. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park. Mr. Musgrave was born Jan. 4, 1939, in Davidson County to Paul Musgrave and Lillie Hunt Musgrave, who both preceded him in death. He was a former employee at Link-Taylor Furniture. Surviving are his wife, Lenora Black Musgrave of the home; a son, Ben Musgrave and his wife, Debbie, of Lexington; three daughters, Lori Mann and her husband, Greg, and Susanna Hicks and her husband, Michael, all of Lexington, and Deanna Kiger and her husband, Steve, of Denton; a sister, Clara Heath and her husband, Fred, of Troutman; four brothers, Charlie Musgrave and his wife, Willie Mae, Howard Musgrave, Maurice Musgrave and his wife, Millie, and Richard Musgrave and his wife, Lafata, all of Lexington; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 tonight at the funeral home and other times at the home of the son, 794 Foxcroft Drive.
