Azalea Augusta Snyder

Azalea Augusta Snyder, age 87, a resident of Pinetop Road, Lexington died Friday, June 22, 2007 at 8:42 AM at her residence. Funeral Services will be conducted Sunday, June 24, 2007 at 2:00 PM from the Graveside in Forest Hill Memorial Park with the Rev. Michael Greer and Mr. Dewey Everhart officiating. Miss. Snyder was born in Swain County, NC on March 1, 1920 to the late Charlie Rufus and Hester Victoria Allen Snyder. She was a retired employee of Parkdale Mills and she attended the First Wesleyan Church. In addition to her parents, preceding her in death were a brother, Charlie Frank Snyder, three sisters, Bonnie Smith, Grace Snyder, and Pauline Snyder. She is survived by a sister, Mary Temple of Lexington. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the residence.
