Avery F. Huffman

Lexington: Avery F. Huffman, 50, of Arnold Road died Thursday morning, April 5, 2007 at his home after an illness of one-year. A Graveside Service will be held 11:00 AM Monday, April 9, 2007 at Bear Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, Bear Creek Road, Mocksville, NC by the Rev Marty Murphy. Avery was born January 14, 1957 in Davie County to James Monroe Huffman and Josephine Draughn Huffman. He was retired from PPG Industries and was of the Baptist Faith. He is survived by a son Brian Huffman of Japan; a daughter Andrea Huffman of Lexington.; three brothers, Steve, Ken, and Allen Huffman of Lexington, four sisters Betty Byerly of Lexington, Pat Hawks of Mt. Airy, and Elaine Culler, and Judy Boles both of Mocksville. Mr. Huffman was preceded in death by his parents and brothers David Huffman and Joe Huffman. The family will receive friends Sunday from 6:00 PM until 8:30 PM at Piedmont Funeral Home and other times at their respective homes.
