Annie Mae Miller Foster, 102, of Piedmont Crossing, formerly of Highway 150 North, died Tuesday at Hinkle Hospice House. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday at Paul’s Chapel Church by the Revs. Aaron Long and Jimmy Norred. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM until 1:30PM Friday at the church. Mrs. Foster was born May 19, 1912 to Charlie and Jennie Warner Miller. She was the oldest living member of Paul’s Chapel Church. Preceding her in death were her husband, Irving Washington Foster; son, Irving Willis Foster; daughter, Carol Foster Watson; grandchildren, Willis Scott Foster and Gary Dean Foster; brother, Clarence Miller; and sister Blanche Hedrick. Surviving are daughter, Margaret Pope of Lexington; grandchildren, Ronald Sink and wife Margaret, Chad Sink, Robin Sink, Martha Linebeck, Yvonne Mace and husband Terry, Mark Watson, and Julie Foster Whitley. Also surviving are fifteen great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
