Amy Lynn Bailey

Amy Lynn Kephart Bailey, 60, of South Salisbury Street died Sunday, May 6, 2018 at Hinkle Hospice House.  A graveside service will be Thursday at 2:00 in Forest Hill Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel conducted by the Revs. Lewis Johns and Scott Slaughter. Entombment will follow in the mausoleum. The family will receive friends Thursday from 1-2 PM in the mausoleum chapel.    Amy was born June 6, 1957 in Anson County to David Ralph and Ellen Hembree Kephart. A member of Coggins Memorial Baptist Church, she was a former cashier for Food Lion Corporation. Her mother preceded her in death.  Surviving are husband Gary Bailey of the home; daughter Jenifer Marie Barnes-Burns; sister Susan Kephart York and her children Jesse and Sarah York, and her father all of Lexington. Also surviving are grandchildren Ellen Rhiannon Burcham, Lucian Isiah Wood, William Storm Burns, and Devon Anthony Burns, and three great-granchildren.  Memorials may be made to The American Diabetes Association, PO Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312.
