Almarose Younts Brock

Almarose Younts Brock, 93, of Reedy Creek Road, died Saturday November 4, 2017 at The Oaks of Forsyth.   Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Monday November 6, 2017 at Piedmont Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev Joseph Fulk officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the Funeral Home.   Mrs. Brock was born in Davidson County on October 4, 1924 to the late Jasper Allen Younts and Sallie Craver Younts. She was a member of Good Hope United Methodist Church. She was active in the United Methodist Women and she sang in the church choir. She was on the UMAR committee of the Lexington District of the United Methodist Church and was on the board of ARC of Davidson County. She was preceded in death by her husband, Windsor Eugene Brock, her son, Allen Brock, brothers , Jasper A. Younts, Jr., Fleet Younts,  Zan Dale Younts  and Richard Worth Younts,  sisters, Perry Byerly, Laura Perryman and Irene Miller.   Surviving are, sisters, Amy Jo Hartman (Eugene) and Lucy Schaeffer both of Lexington.   Memorials may be made to, The ARC of Davidson County, 1900 S.
