Allen "Tommy" Williams

Allen “Tommy” Williams, 73, of Giles Road, died Friday November 4, 2016 at Hinkle Hospice House. Funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday November 8, 2016 at Piedmont Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Larry Wright officiating. Burial will follow in Lexington City Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 12:30-2:00 PM prior to the service at the Funeral Home. Mr. Williams was born in Union County on July 5, 1943 to the late Jim Williams and Arliva Crump Williams. He was owner of Dry Wall Specialist and was preceded in death by son, Thomas Eugene Strange. Surviving are his wife, Retha Richardson Williams of the home; sons, Kevin Strange (Robin) and Dennis Strange ( Soklian) of Lexington; daughters, Angela Latham (Greg) and Sherry Vincent (David) of Lexington; sisters, Mary Evelyn Helms of Lexington; Zelma Stacks of Monroe and Lee Stacks of Charlotte; 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, best friends, Larry and Don Wright and not to forget his special pets, Peanut, Nikki, Poppy and Harley.
