Heaven has received our Mom, one of the sweetest, most compassionate and hard working women to ever live. Aline Triplette Hanes, 82, of North NC Highway 150, died Thursday June 6, 2013 at Abbotts Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, June 9, 2013 at Tyro United Methodist Chuch with the Rev. Randy Foster officiating. Burial will follow in Currytown Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 P.M. Saturday, June 8, 2013 at Piedmont Funeral Home. Mrs. Hanes was born November 16, 1930 in Wilkes County to the late James Franklin Triplett and Eva Jettie Bell Triplett. She was a member of Currytown Baptist Church and was self- employed. For some 20 years she loved to camp at Lake Myers. She was preceded in death by her parents ; her husband, Clyde Hanes; sons,David Welborn and Timmy Welborn; brother, James Triplett; and sister, Hazel Triplett. Surviving are son, Kenny Hanes and wife Tracy of Lexington; daughter, Kelly Craver and husband Lee of Lexington; grandchildren, Cassidy Craver, Baylee Craver, Claire Craver, Abigail Hanes and Carter Hanes, brothers, Jim Triplett and wife Jane, Leon Triplett both of Elkin; and sisters, Pat Coppley of Lexington and Frances Howell of North Wilkesboro. A very special thanks to the staff of Abbotts Creek for their special care given to Mrs. Hanes.
