Alice Jane Knox

Alice Jane Barker Knox, 72, of Joe Cecil Road, died Friday January 5, 2018 at Hinkle Hospice House.  A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday January 9, 2018 at Forest Hill Memorial Park, with the Rev. David Davis officiating. Burial to follow after the service. Family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Monday January 8, 2018 at Piedmont Funeral Home.  Alice was born in Gibson,TN. on March 8, 1945, to the late Edward Carmack Barker and Georgia Alexander Barker. She retired from Clyde Pearson Furniture.She was preceded in death by her sisters, Helen Barker Zawadzki, Dottie Barker Dyer and Mary Elizabeth Barker, brother, Edward Barker. She has lived in Lexington for the past 39 years.  Surviving is her husband of 38 years, Jerry Knox of the home, son Craig Douglas Kolwyck , step son, Joey Knox (Lisa), daughter, Dawn Kolwyck Wise, step daughter, Janet Knox Sartori, grandchildren, Brandi, Matthew, Elizabeth, Kaitlyn, Jonathon, Courtney and Eric, great-grandchildren, Landon, Austin, Harper, Kassidee, Konner, Gavin, Kennedy,Millie and Declan.  Memorials may be made to, Hospice of Davidson County, 202 Hospice Way, Lexington,NC 27292
